V - Vienna Gene

The Vienna gene is responsible for creating Blue-Eyed White (BEW) rabbits.  As well as Vienna marked "VM" rabbits which will have spots around their face.

Few, if any, breeds accept VM color patterns.  No starter rabbit will ever have a VM color pattern, they can only be created by breeding a BEW rabbit (or a REW rabbit that is masking the Vienna gene) to a non Vienna carrier.

Color Impact

VV - no impact on color at all. This is what the majority of rabbits will be.

Vv - 50% of the time will be Vienna Marked (VM) and 50% of the time it will Vienna Carrier (VC) with no sign of the Vienna gene at all.

vv - Blue-Eyed White UNLESS the rabbit is Red-Eyed White. In that case the REW will mask the BEW.
